Dear Readers ,

We have the pleasure to welcome you to the Newly Created JAMHURIYA HOME PAGE and also the Jamhuria E-Mail which can be reached through the following address : jamhuria@emirates.net.ae

It has always been our ambition to be abreast with the New Technology and not left out , We are very grateful to Our Director who is a far sighted person and has not spared anything in providing us with the best and making Jamhuriya a publication to reckon with. Today we are like any other modern publication , and still are in the process of developing further , we are presently fully automated with very good office’s and many modern facilities at our disposal.

Jamhuriya was among the First Organization to Introduce the use Pc computers In Somaliland , today we have 4 Pc’s to our disposal , we have now joined the World of Internet , Despite of the high cost of this facility from Somaliland , Mr. Shide did not hesitate in providing us this service.

We have been compelled to join this facility via the United Arab Emirates server as the same is not yet possible through the neighbouring Countries , thus the excessive expenditure of dialing through the International Telephone lines to the UAE . All this was made possible with the Assistance of our good Friend and supporter in the UAE Mr. Mahmood Noor Hersi , Who is a stern ,dedicated believer of Somaliland and whose vision of Somaliland is beyond our Dream , Inshallah almighty will lead us there.

To our biggest supporters you readers of Jamhuriya and who are far away from Home , We have opened this channel for you and the possibility of your participation in the Nation Building and contribute your thought’s , ideas and any advice’s you may have either for us at Jamhuriya or Somaliland at large.

Like any Institution of our nature we do have our guidelines and rules of publishing in order to harmonies the Penmanship in a very constructive manner. Below is a guide line for all those wishing to send us letters ,Articles etc. :

• Articles should either be in English , Af-Somali or Arabic .
• They should be brief and Precise to the point and readable.
• Any bad language or abusive will not be acceptable or published.
• Issues of Personal attack , vindictive or any information unsupported with original proof of the source will not be accepted.
• Each article or letter submitted should have your full name and your complete contact address alongwith an affidavit declaring that what ever submitted is of truthness and you are liable and willing to justify if any queries may arise.
• Articles that may have any tendency of soliciting any trouble , or inciting any confusion will not be entertained.
• Any anti-Somaliland article’s are not welcomed at all.
• Do not send any article’s that may Fringe the Human right of any individual , Personal Privacy or any Malicious material.
• The Editor’s have the right to publish , Edit , and reject any article that may not meet the criteria required.

We are very hopeful that we will be receiving your contribution and any other information through the Internet and this will be the beginning of a very long lasting relationship , hopefully also your article’s will be very enjoyable ,Educational, and constructive to the People and the government of Somaliland.
